2D / 3D Industrial and Commercial Mapping
Aerial Property / Asset Inspections
Our rapid aerial image capturing and remote sensing capabilities transform high-resolution images into incredibly accurate, thoroughly-detailed, 2D maps and 3D renderings of existing structures and landscapes which can be used to aid in project planning/monitoring, estimates and construction planning. Drone imaging and mapping dramatically decreases the amount of manpower and resources needed to create detailed maps of property and assets.
What is Drone Mapping?
Drone mapping works by taking high-resolution images of an object or area of interest from above. Through a process called photogrammetry (which uses sophisticated software) these images are combined in a single complete image, called an orthomosaic. All of the objects in an orthomosaic are scaled and can be georeferenced which makes it possible to use the map to take highly accurate measurements.
Job Site Progress & Asset Monitoring
Drones can provide images from a wide variety of angles, including close-up shots and wide-scale aerial images. By following the same flight plan over a period of time, organizations can easily monitor and track progress on your construction project and identify issues before they turn into problems. Monitoring projects from an elevated perspective can provide comprehensive overviews that are highly accurate and efficient.
Drone inspections are a key tool to minimize risk and cost while maximizing efficiency. Our drones capture high-resolution images of your property and assets providing you a cost effective way manage your projects and make decisions without deploying staff.
3D Models / 3D Volumetric Models
Multiple high-resolution images can be combined to create a detailed photographic map, geometrically corrected to remove any distortion. Combining a series of aerial images with sophisticated modeling software to create 3D or volumetric models enables professionals to quickly and affordably evaluate topography, monitor progress of projects, or keep an eye on soil erosion. Highly detailed 3D models and point clouds of landscapes, commercial or residential structures or other assets can be generated from the images as well allowing for cost/time effective measurements and monitoring.
High Definition Still and Video Imagery for Damage or Insurance Documentation
Ground level photography can be time-consuming, limited in scope and even dangerous. It can also miss features aerial drone imagery can capture. Drones facilitate property inspections, appraisals, building management, roof inspections and more.
Additionally, capturing images of property, landscapes from an elevated perspective deliver truly breathtaking results.
